Mel is the Vice President of Iowa Securities Investment Corporation and Black Hawk Fidelity Corp.  Mel provides leadership to manage resources, both company assets and people, in order to maximize relationships and returns that ensure a quality of life for ISIC investors and the communities in which we do business.

As Vice President, Mel analyzes the scope of potential financing opportunities to determine whether it is a sound investment of company assets.  He provides a high functioning team that can represent company interests to potential investors.  He ensures compliance to applicable state and federal regulations, monitors credit and ensures proper controls are in place to protect customer and company assets, including internal controls, audits and reviews.

His wife, three children and their spouses, and four grandchildren keep him busy with all their sports activities, concerts and plays.  He and his wife enjoy fishing, golfing, snowmobiling, watching sports and spending time with family and friends.
